Senior UX Designer
Visier — Vancouver, BC, Canada
As a Senior UX Designer on the Platform Studio team at Visier, I design complex workflow experiences within the people analytics domain, focused on data transformation and ETL processes that need to feel approachable for a wide range of users. My role spans the full design lifecycle: from conducting user research and shaping problem scope alongside PMs, to collaborating closely with engineering to ensure designs are well-scoped and ready for delivery. I bring a service design lens to my projects, using service blueprints to map how a feature affects not just the end customer experience, but internal workflows and processes as well. I also help define success metrics and work with the team to implement tracking, so we can measure the real impact of what we ship. Throughout my process, I actively incorporate AI tools such as Claude Desktop and Claude Code to help with research synthesis, design exploration, and execution.

I collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align the needs of the Bench team with customer expectations, ensuring seamless operations. Additionally, I work alongside engineering to ensure designs are feasible, well-scoped, and effectively implemented to meet project objectives.

We determine the objectives and I take the plan, start discovery, and prepare for delivery. I also work with the engineering team to ensure my designs are feasible and well-scoped for a sprint’s worth of work. In addition to the day-to-day work, I also help with managing and mentoring interns whenever we take on practicum students.

Senior Interactive Designer
Unbounce — Vancouver, BC, Canada
I undertook more senior responsibilities in addition to my previous role. I was accountable for my projects as a design lead for their entire lifecycle from conception to completion. I was also responsible for presenting each stage to stakeholders and the team with a rationale for my design decisions. Using design thinking as a guiding principle, I found opportunities to introduce it to influence the process of collaborative projects.
